Practical Competition Shooting League

PCSL Stage Design Software

Design PCSL stages with the targets, colours and props PCSL actually uses. Set each target for pistol or rifle, paint the steel by what engages it, and drop in the dump barrels, then walk the stage before anyone builds it.

PCSL targets, pistol and rifle

Pick the PCSL or PCSL Competition target for the stage. Non-threats are the red PCSL target, not a recoloured stand-in. Switch any target between pistol and rifle and it changes to match, so a multi-gun stage reads correctly at a glance.

Steel painted by the rules

Paint each steel target by what engages it, with the PCSL colours: blue for handgun, white for rifle, yellow and gray for the 3-Gun cases. The colour shows in both editors, in the top-down view and on the build sheet, so the paint crew gets the same list you designed.

Everything else on the stage

  • Rifle and pistol dump barrels
  • Steel poppers, plates, plate racks and the Texas Star
  • Walls with doors and windows, barrels and shooting-area lines
  • Moving targets on the timing you set
  • Sight lines and shooting positions
  • Stage sheets, match books and build sheets

Walk it before you build it

Build the stage in 3D and walk it on screen, or put on a Meta Quest 3 or 3S and stand in it at full size. Awkward transitions, blocked sight lines and unsafe angles show up while they are still free to fix.

Questions

Does it have the PCSL targets?
Yes. Both the PCSL and PCSL Competition targets are built in, with the red PCSL non-threat.
Can one stage have both pistol and rifle targets?
Yes. Each target is set to pistol or rifle on its own, and steel is painted per target by what engages it.
Is it only for 3D?
No. The 2D editor has PCSL targets, rifle targets, painted steel and the dump barrels too, and both editors share the same stage library and match books.
Can I try it before paying?
Every account gets both editors free for 45 days with no card up front, then it is $12 a year. You can also try the 2D editor right now with no account at all.
