No. Open your stage in the Quest browser and press the VR button.

Do I need a headset to use Pew Pew Stage Factory?

Meta Quest 3 and 3S

VR Shooting Stage Builder

Design a stage in the 3D editor, then stand in it. Open the stage in your Meta Quest's browser, press VR, and you are in the bay at full size with your controller as the pistol. Nothing to install.

A shooting stage in the Pew Pew Stage Factory 3D editor, ready to open in VR — The same stage you build on screen is the one you walk in the headset.

Stand in it at full size

Walk the stage in your room, or glide through it with the thumbstick at par speed. Walls and barrels stop you the way they will on the range, and turning snaps so it stays comfortable. Turn on passthrough and the stage stands in the room around you.

Your controller is the pistol

Zero the sights once and shoot the stage for real. Cardboard takes holes, steel falls, and moving targets start when you trip them. A laser is there when you want it, and either hand can be the shooting hand.

Run it on the clock

Pick Run from the wrist menu, wait for the beep, and shoot the stage against the shot timer on your wrist. When you stop, the results card scores the run target by target under IDPA, USPSA or GPA rules, with your power factor or division. Reset the stage and run it again.

Fix it without taking the headset off

If a wall is in the wrong place, grab it and move it. Turn props, delete them, add new ones from a ring of tiles in front of you, undo a mistake, and save. When you take the headset off, the stage is waiting for you in the 3D editor.
